ABOUT LEADERS UNLIMITED
The founder of LUI, Gerald "Jerry" Beverly, along with administrators and other professionals, conducts classes, seminars, and lessons at educational institutions to engage the youth community and motivate them to become the leaders they are destined to be.
Jerry grew up playing all sports in Troy, Alabama, and eventually specialized in football, leading his high school team to a state championship. He played football at Troy State University and won a National Championship in his senior year in 1985. Jerry graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
He moved to Miami in 1993, where he worked at FIU and Miami Dade College as a Life Skills Coordinator and athletics chaplain. He has coached football, baseball, and volleyball and has been in ministry in Miami for over 27 years. Jerry lives with his wife, Joy, in Coral Gables.
In 2004, Jerry utilized his experience on and off the field to develop Leaders Unlimited, Inc educational lessons, motivational messages, community service projects, and individual mentoring to bring about positive change in each individual's life. The mentoring program focuses on teamwork, integrity, and services, and integrity. LUI prioritizes building relationships to instill self-esteem, a sense of purpose, direction, and leadership qualities. Our programs and activities at LUI are primarily student-led by emerging leaders from different faith backgrounds, nationalities, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Leaders Unlimited, Inc (LUI) is dedicated to nurturing and empowering the next generation of leaders through mentorship and guidance during high school and college. This is crucial for several reasons:
1. Skill Development: Mentorship provides young individuals with essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills are often developed through real-world experiences and guidance from seasoned professionals.
2. Confidence Building: Having a mentor helps boost a student’s confidence. When they receive support and encouragement, they are more likely to take on challenges and pursue opportunities they may have otherwise avoided.
